Voor wie?
Heeft jouw bedrijf of organisatie expertise en ervaring met financieringsmodellen voor een gezond binnenklimaat in (school)gebouwen? Of heeft jouw organisatie ideeën voor nieuwe business(modellen) inzake comfort en gezond binnenklimaat vanuit bouwteams/ESCO’s?
Dan nodigen we je samen met het Vlaams Energiebedrijf (VEB) en Verhaert New Product & Services uit om deel te nemen aan de marktconsultatie die we organiseren rond de financiële en business-aspecten van ons project 'Duurzame en gezonde scholen'.
Uitdaging?
Het huidige financieringsvoorstel vanuit het bouwteam/ESCO is om via een dienstencontract dat resultaatgericht is de bijkomende investeringskosten te dragen via een variabele vergoeding afhankelijk van de behaalde prestatie en een bonus/malus-mechanisme zodat potentiële winsten onder de leden van het bouwteam (dus ook de school) en de ESCO verdeeld kunnen worden. Naast een vergoeding voor een gerealiseerde energiebesparing (die resulteert uit de lagere energiefactuur) en prestatiegericht onderhoud, willen we in de toekomst ook comfortmaatregelen en het garanderen van een gezond binnenklimaat via een prestatiebestek kunnen aanpakken. Tijdens de consultatie worden verschillende voorstellen uitgewerkt. Daarnaast willen we onderzoeken welke financieringsmogelijkheden er zijn en of ouders/grootouders/sympathisanten van scholen ook mee kunnen participeren.
Doel tweede workshop?
Het project ‘Duurzame en gezonde scholen’ vormt een uitdaging op zowel technologisch, financieel als juridisch vlak. Deze aspecten komen in drie opeenvolgende workshops aan bod.
Terwijl we in de eerste workshop op 14 juni nagaan in hoeverre de markt technologische oplossingen kan aanreiken om de scholen te voorzien van een comfortabel en gezond binnenklimaat, willen we in de tweede workshop verschillende partijen bij elkaar brengen (bouwpromotoren, experts bouwtechnieken, specialisten op het vlak van prestatiebestekken, ESCO’s, REScoops) die baat kunnen hebben bij de uitwerking van nieuwe businessmodellen rond dit thema. Een derde workshop gaat tot slot in op de juridische aspecten die aan dit project verbonden zijn.
Eens de uitdaging - dankzij dit voortraject - in al zijn aspecten duidelijk is, kunnen het VEB en PIO overgaan tot de opmaak en publicatie van het opdrachtdocument.

De workshop rond de financiële/business-aspecten van dit project gaat door op dinsdag 3 juli van 9u00 tot 12u30 in de kantoren van het Vlaamse Energiebedrijf (VEB), Koninklijk Pakhuis, Havenlaan 86C bus 301 (4e verd.), 1000 Brussel.

Market Consultation Sustainable and Healthy Schools - Financial / Business aspects
For whom?
Does your company or organisation have expertise and experience with financing models for a healthy indoor climate in (school) buildings? Or does your organisation have ideas for new business models for comfort and a healthy indoor climate from the perspective of building teams/ESCOs?
Together with the Flemish Energy Company (VEB) and Verhaert New Product & Services, we invite you to participate in the market consultation we organise on the financial and business aspects of our 'Sustainable and healthy schools' project.
Challenge?
The current financing proposal from the perspective of the construction team/ESCO is to bear the additional investment costs through a performance-based service contract with a variable remuneration depending on the performance achieved and a bonus/malus mechanism so that potential profits can be shared between the members of the construction team (including the school) and the ESCO. In addition to compensation for the energy savings achieved (resulting from the lower energy bill) and performance-based maintenance, we also want to be able to tackle comfort measures and guarantee a healthy indoor climate in the future via a performance-based tender. Various proposals will be worked out during the workshop. In addition, we want to explore financing possibilities and whether parents/grandparents/sympathisers of schools can also participate.
Purpose of second workshop?
The 'Sustainable and Healthy Schools' project poses technological, financial and legal challenges. These aspects will be addressed in three consecutive workshops.
While in the first workshop on 14 June we will examine to what extent the market can provide technological solutions to provide schools with a comfortable and healthy indoor climate, in the second workshop we want to bring together different parties (construction promoters, experts in building techniques, specialists in performance specifications, ESCOs, REScoops) who can benefit from the development of new business models on this theme. Finally, a third workshop will discuss the legal aspects of this project.
Once the challenge is clear in all its aspects, VEB and PIO can proceed to the preparation and publication of the tender document.
Where and when?
The workshop on the financial/business aspects of this project will take place on Tuesday 3 July from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. in the offices of the Flemish Energy Company (VEB), Royal Warehouse, Havenlaan 86C bus 301 (4th floor), 1000 Brussels.
