Wie zoeken we - doelpubliek?

Voor het project ‘klimaat- en energieneutrale pluimveestal’ nodigen wij samen met ILVO (Instituut voor Landbouw-, Visserij- en Voedingsonderzoek), ondernemingen en onderzoeksgroepen uit met kennis en ervaring in het combineren van klassieke en hernieuwbare technieken voor klimaatautomatisatie in industriële omgevingen, om deel te nemen aan een marktconsultatie.

We richten ons op deelnemers met volgende specifieke competenties: technische achtergrond rond technieken voor klimaatbeheersing (ventilatie, koeling, verwarming, …), toepassing van hernieuwbare energietechnologieën in het kader van klimaatneutrale gebouwen en experts in programmering, automatisatie, optimalisatie én visualisatie van de technieken die het gebruiksgemak, de betrouwbaarheid en de klimaatneutraliteit kunnen maximaliseren bij de ingewikkelde beheersing van het klimaat in kippenstallen (inclusief warmterecuperatie).

Doel van het project

ILVO bouwt een nieuwe proefstal voor vleeskippen. Deze zal dienen als voorbeeld voor de pluimvee industrie in Vlaanderen, met alle technieken geïntegreerd om operationeel klimaat- en energieneutraal te zijn.

Voor het bekomen van een klimaat- en energieneutrale stal, specifiek voor vleeskippen wordt in het najaar 2020 een overheidsopdracht gelanceerd. De opdracht beoogt de combinatie en correcte samenwerking van verschillende technieken (bv. koeling, verwarming en ventilatie, energieopslag,…). De uitdaging ligt in de juiste technieken te selecteren, correct te dimensioneren, afdoende af te stemmen en in te regelen op elkaar om zodoende een klimaatneutraal eindresultaat te bekomen.

Doel marktconsultatie

Tijdens de marktconsultatie wordt duidelijkheid gecreëerd over de toepasbaarheid, risico’s en kosten van de waaier aan technieken die gebruikt kunnen worden om tot het doel van het project te komen. Tijdens de marktconsultatie willen we de wensen van ILVO (vanuit verschillende perspectieven, van het personeel, onderzoekers, technische dienst, enz.) 'matchen' met (deel-)oplossingen beschikbaar op de markt. Het is de bedoeling om na te gaan in hoeverre ondernemingen oplossingen kunnen aanreiken voor de behoeften en noden van ILVO, en hoe innovatief, haalbaar (qua tijd, budget, ontwikkelingstraject, enz.) deze oplossingen zijn.

Voor een vlotte discussie en goed resultaat is het aangewezen om uw bedrijf te laten vertegenwoordigen door een medewerker met technologische expertise (eerder dan door een sales- of PR-medewerker). Zij kunnen doorgaans beter en sneller inschatten wat de technologische oplossingen kunnen zijn voor elke behoefte of gewenste functionaliteit.

De uitkomst van de marktconsultatie moet ILVO in staat stellen om een geschikte (innovatieve) oplossing voor de gestelde behoefte te laten ontwikkelen, testen of aan te kopen via een overheidsopdracht.

Who should attend?

For the project 'climate and energy-neutral poultry house', we invite, together with ILVO (Institute for Agricultural, Fisheries and Food Research), companies and research institutes with knowledge and experience in integrating, automating and optimizing regular and sustainable climate control technologies in industrial settings to participate in a market consultation.

We are reaching out to participants with the following specific competencies: technical expertise in techniques for climate control (ventilation, cooling, heating, ...), application of renewable energy technologies in the context of climate-neutral buildings and experts in programming, automation, optimization and visualization of the techniques in order to maximize ease of use, reliability and climate neutrality of the complex climate control systems of chicken houses (including heat recovery).

During this event, several use cases, specifications and expected outcomes will be discussed. The main purpose is to make sure that the project specifications match with the current state-of-the-art in the domain of climate-neutral poultry barns.

Goal of the project

ILVO is building a new experimental barn for broiler chickens. This will serve as an example for the poultry industry in Flanders, with all techniques integrated to be operationally climate and energy neutral.

A public tender will be launched in the fall of 2020 to obtain a climate and energy-neutral barn, specifically for broilers. The innovative solution aims at the combination and correct cooperation of different techniques (eg cooling, heating and ventilation, energy storage, ...). The challenge lies in selecting the right techniques, dimensioning them correctly, coordinating them adequately and adjusting them in order to achieve a climate-neutral result.

Market Consultation

During the market consultation, clarity is given about the applicability, risks and costs of the range of techniques that can be used to achieve the goal of the project. We want to 'match' the wishes of ILVO a contracting authority (from different perspectives, from the personnel, researchers, technical service, etc.) with (partial) solutions available on the market. The aim is to examine to what extent companies can provide solutions for the needs and requirements of ILVO, and how innovative, feasible (in terms of time, budget, development path, etc.) these solutions are.

For a smooth discussion and good result, it is recommended to have your company represented by team members with technological expertise (rather than by a sales or PR employee). They can usually estimate better and faster what the technical solutions can be for each need or desired functionality.

The outcome of the market consultation must enable ILVO to develop, test or purchase a suitable (innovative) solution for the stated need via a public tender.
